Setting up Information

To set up Presto Player on your WordPress website, install the plugin from the WordPress plugin repository or upload the Pro version’s zip file, then activate it. After activation, navigate to the Presto Player menu in your dashboard, add your video in the Media Hub, and embed it on your pages or posts using the dedicated Presto Player block.

For WordPress Websites:
  1. 1. Install the Plugin:
    Log in to your WordPress dashboard.
    Go to Plugins > Add New. 
    Search for “Presto Player” in the plugin search bar. 
    Click Install Now for the free version, or click Upload Plugin to install the Pro version’s zip file after purchasing it from Presto Player. 
    Click Activate. 
    2. Activate Your License (for Pro version):
    If you are using the Pro version, go to Presto Player > License in your dashboard.
  • Paste the license key you received after purchase and click Save. 
    3. Add Your Video:
    Go to the Presto Player Media Hub.

    Click Add New to upload a new video.

  • Choose your video source (e.g., upload a video,
  • add a YouTube URL, or a Vimeo link). 
    Add a title for your video and configure other settings. 
    4. Embed the Video on a Page or Post:

    Open the page or post where you want to add the video.

    Click the + icon to open the block list.

  • Search for and select the Presto Player block.
  • Configure the block to display the video you added in the Media Hub. 
    Click Publish or Update to save your changes. 
    For Users Setting up Presto Player

To set up Presto Player for user video uploads, you need to install the plugin on your WordPress site, then use the Presto Player Media Hub to upload videos or connect to external hosting like Vimeo or YouTube. The Media Hub lets you store videos and then embed them on your pages using the Presto Player video blocks, providing a professional look and user-friendly experience for your visitors

1. Install Presto Player Plugin 

  1. Log in to your WordPress dashboard.
  2. Navigate to Plugins > Add New.
  3. Search for “Presto Player”.
  4. Click Install Now and then Activate.
2. Upload Videos to the Media Hub
  1. In your WordPress dashboard, go to the new Presto Player menu item. 
    Select Media Hub. 
    Click on the Add New button to upload a new video. 

    You can choose to:

  2. Upload: a video file directly to your site. 
    Link: to a video from external services like YouTube or Vimeo. 
    Use a dedicated video hosting service like Bunny.net
    3. Embed Videos on Your Pages
    1. Open a WordPress post or page where you want to display a video. 
      Click the “+” (Add Block) icon and search for “Presto Player”. 
      Select the Presto Video block. 
      Click the Add/Select Video button to choose a video from your Media Hub. 
      Configure the block’s settings, such as adding chapters or calls to action. 
      Publish: or Update the page to make the video available to your users
